Yoko is a free spirited daughter of Miyata-san - the avid gardener and a mother for everyone. She plays African drums, and Mbira, is an African dancer, wine collector and has a passion for roses. She is also a great customer and has helped us a lot during our exhibitions.

Miyata-san is into nourishing everyone who visits them, including their dog Jack-chan. Together with Yoko she used to have many fragile cats under their meticulous and tender care. We think that the Miyata home is a heaven for every animals. Sometimes we really wonder why those birds are still that plump during winter time, especially for those that stay around Yoko and her mom’s home.

Yoko-san and Miyata-san

These are the first two ladies Hari was introduced to when he moved to Switzerland in 1999. They both are and always have been our compassionate friends.

Yoko and her mother live in Rheinfelden and both have the fascinating ability to decorate their house and garden in a  fusion of Asian and European flair.
