Our Friends in Bali
Picture on the left: Kadek Suwalo (right) is working with a major insurance company in Bali. Komang Suwali (left) is presently working in a hotel and he also creates beautiful glass-beaded jewellery and items.
Picture on the right: Kadek Suwalo’s wife, Kadek Sumariyanti (left), is a spa-therapist in a world-class Retreat and excels in painting. Kadek Sumariyanti is mother of two boys. Komang Suwali’s wife, Njoman Mini (right) is an esthetician in a beauty spa. She is the mother of two girls and of one boy.
Kadek Sumariyanti and Njoman Mini are valuable sources of information on a great variety of traditional Balinese insights. They both are accomplished cooks and expert makers of offerings.
Hariyono knows Kadek Suwalo and Komang Suwali, recognized as the Twin of Ubud, since 1995. They are both living and working in Ubud with their family. We help each other to understand about culture differences and traditions since we know each other from the beginning. We have grown wiser and, we think, have become better human beings as a result of such mutual understanding. Together we are buidling Taman Teman - The Garden of Friends.
