This is Hariyono and Erich’s promise to our friends: We are supporting friends-in-needs for a better life. We facilitate their personal and family demands when they need it. We ae working together for a better future. Together we are building the livable Taman Teman - Garden of Friends - in Ubud/Bali.
Building Taman Teman is a long term project: The foundations of the house are completed and we will ad to the structure step by step to soon make it a livable place for our friends.
Our promise
It is not only an advantage but also our promise to you as our valuable customer that all producs you buy from us in Europe are carefully hand-selected, the producers get a fair price and a part of our profit is used to support our friends. Not only we buy their beautiful and carefully hand-crafted items, but also we share profit with them when buying new items for our collection while travelling.
While most of the funds for Taman Teman come from us in Europe, our friends coordinate, plan and carry out the challenging part of its creation: They negotiate with local dealers and invest a lot of thoughts and physical strenght into the constructions on the land in Ubud. Once the house becomes livable, they will have a safe shelter to live for themselves and for their family.
Working together is an advantage for all parties involved!
Our friends can look forward to receiving an additional income for their skillfully crafted items that we sell in Europe. They do not only have an intense knowledge of local producers in Bali and of their unique cultural insight but they also know how and by whom these articels are being produced. Beside of their many talents of producing wonderful articles they know the best resources and they have excellent connections to local artists in Bali. Using this knowledge gives us the opportunity to enlarge our collection of valuable items for our customers in Europe.
